This is a project I realised a few years ago with my friend Lara, a great illustrator. The artwork was commissioned by the event agency Eventeria for decorating a party called "Private Eye". The theme was ACQUARIUM. My idea was: taking portraits to some members of the staff in my big bath, then printing the pictures on drawing paper, and let Lara interpret them with a pen, and her vivid fantasy. Please note once again that there is not digital retouch on these images, only pen retouch! ;) This is Andrea Giotti, Eventeria owner and manager.

And this is Maxine in front of the swimming pool in her beautiful house in Ibiza. Maxine is a professional dj, if you are curious abut her, you can check her personal website maxinedj

I took this pic last summer in Ibiza, with my friends Raluca and Maxine.
We arranged the styling with stuff we had in our wardrobe. I make them play the divas role, we had fun!
I chose this shot because I think it really represents their character, or the way I see them...like a portrait should do ;)

Today it's time for my beautiful friend Celeste. This pic was shot in Rome about one year ago. She's a model but she never has this sweet expression when we are on set!

So let's start officially with one portrait I made to my dearest friend and muse, Sara. I shot with my Nikon F3hp using exhausted film.  That's why the picture is full of spots, which I like! We were in Rome for a weekend. We also shot a crazy pic at the mirror, both completely naked, I can't publish it because Sara doesn't allow me…sometimes my best pics are only for me!

This is probably the first portrait I did without any artistic purpose. I just wanted to remember this guy I met on a crazy afterhour party with my friend Sara, somewhere in Dalston. We were sharing a taxi and he didn't want to be photographed. So I forced him. The light was not enough to have a good picture. I love this sense of violence.
